I like the looks of this lineup a lot. The only thing I'd change is have Vogey playing today against the righty. Especially after his big game yesterday

Should have been in this 2 spot, or similar, for a while now. He will generate runs here. When healthy. |

Couldn't ask for a better position to put Swanson in for. He got out of it scoreless but gave up 3 scorching line drives. Maybe something to build off of.
 Nice win!

Got a score alert that said the Jays have begun to ask other teams about Bo and Vlad for the trade deadline. The quote was one exec saying the price is ridiculous. Not sure why you’d have a guy who isn’t the exec moving forward to make a franchise altering deal or two. It really needs to be done by the next GM and not the one who’s failed.

I think that these talks are happening means that this is the GM going forward.

Could be. Unless he’s obligated to do his job. Meanwhile I wonder if he’s on the clock in Shapiro’s eyes. It’s his only GM. He probably has one shot himself with another GM. I’d guess this is just Atkins doing his due diligence. Just can’t see Shapiro selling Atkins being the GM after mediocre results almost ten years in.

It sounds like due diligence if they're asking for the moon.

Even if the Blue Jays can't get them back to their All Star numbers the potential is still there and they are both entering their "Prime". If another team is able to put a quality at bat behind Vlad teams will be forced to give him more quality pitches. Bo is just having a slow start he has always been a solid 300 hitter with some pop so I'd be asking for the moon too.

Demoralizing to know whenever a team puts up 3 that there's no hope in hell for the Jays to come back.
Couldn't even get 3 hits at this point.
