I know they've had injuries but it's very strange to me that a team with that kind of resourcing would be so thin as to have to play an aging midfielder at centre back. Have they just loaned out all their depth or are they truly that shallow at CB?
I don't know their squad as well as someone who follows them closely would but seems the Ineos crew coming in who think they're going to fix everything in a couple years have a rude awakening coming. With the financial restrictions now just buying 2-3 high end centre backs is probably a big chunk of what you can do in one window unless you try to cheap out and find bargains or manage to sell a couple players on for big money, which is hard to see beyond Rashford. Tough to pick up value players cheaply at a big 5 club though with everyone in europe asking for a brinks truck the second they see them coming.

They're missing a ton of players, but at CB alone:
Kambwala
Maguire
Lindelof
Martinez
Varane
Luke Shaw is a LB for sure, but has played many matches at CB as well. He was also out today. I think we all know their manager is gone in a couple of weeks, but kind of hard to judge him when he's had such harsh luck with injuries.

Kind of surprised he didn't get axed today tbh. Throw McLaren in as a caretaker until the end of the season - he's a dead man walking you can see it in his interviews and I think they could get embarrassed badly these last two weeks if they just let this carry on

Except...I think all of those players suck.
I couched that with the caveat because I've never even heard of Kambwala and frankly I think you might have made that one up.

Gvardiol just all of a sudden turning into the new Gundogan for City, these ####ing guys are as inevitable in the PL as Madrid in UCL

Important win for Arsenal at Old Trafford. Now hopefully Spurs are able to do something on Tuesday against Man City.

Feels like Arsenal fans need to cheer for Liverpool first. If Villa eliminate Spurs from UCL contention then Spurs likely go full tank.

Yeah this is the worst case scenario for Spurs. Obviously they don’t want to rollover for City. But you also don’t want to win that and hand the title to the worst possible winner.

At least it's coming down to the final day. Nice to be involved in a tight title race down to the wire.
I think City wins out, but very proud of this Arsenal team.
Didn't fall apart like late last season, record number of wins in a season, controlled the points vs City, Liverpool, Spurs, Chelsea and United and no losses in those fixtures.
I feel like we "deserve" it, but it doesn't work that way of course.

Well Villa choking away UCL means Spurs will have to go for it tomorrow. Too bad, I was really wanting to see a 15-0 loss with 11 own goals for the lolz.

I was watching "Last Week Tonight" and posted something in that thread, but it looks like the UK's new Anti-Immigration Policy is sponsored by Arsenal FC.
Because a lot of people are going to be Visiting Rwanda...whether they want to or not!

There are some potentially incredible comedic scenarios tonight, but you just know it's gonna end up like the United-Arsenal game Sunday, a drab, borderline unwatchable 1-0 City win.

I'm so torn, but this is the one time we finally have what is a win-win scenario for Spurs fans. If we do win, well...I love seeing Spurs win! If we lose, the title goes to City and you know...every cloud has a silver lining!
I will say that this is a bit comical to me though. Like Spurs are 5th and pretty solidly 5th. The idea that they can "decide" whether to beat City is a bit amusing. Like today they're suddenly going to decided to put everything together instead of 4/5 performances of late?
