It's funny how Descharnais always screens his own goalie. It seems like he is good for one every game almost. It must drive the rest of the team nuts.

Well to be fair the Canucks were pretty much a top 4 team all year.
I know the media wants this to be David vs Goliath but Canucks were pretty good all season long.

If not for the too many men penalty in the first 2 minutes of the game and a couple of unforced errors, the Oilers wouldn't have even been in this one.

Yeah really. How often are teams with home ice in the playoffs, played off as underdogs the way the Canucks are. I get that goaltending is still a bit sketchy with Demko out, but still. As good as he was during the regular season, they didn't rely on him completely and he missed time then as well.

Canuck fans probably trolling CHED because they had Gregor on their morning show and he was being pretty arrogant, even said Bouchard was pretty close to as good as Hughes, didn't really give Vancouver a chance, etc.
After the call there's about five minutes of the hosts and producers making fun of 'CHUD'--it was pretty funny.

All the Oiler fans on reddit are complaining that there should have been a penalty on the puck being gloved out of the zone toward the end... which isn't a penalty. You're allowed to do that. He didn't close his hand on it or skate with it.

 playoffs is a team sport it’s a three period game
Then in the coach interview:
“Ya skinner didn’t bring his A game and he’d be the first to admit it”
