Default Oh my God. Huge crash in F1 at Montreal

Ugh. i feel sick to my stomach right now after watching Kubica crashing into that cement wall.

I don't have a good feeling about this. I have the exact same feeling when I saw Greg Moore die.

The race seems to still be going on. I haven't been watching, are they saying he's hurt pretty bad?

Great race. Very impressive win by Hamilton. What a star that kid is going to be.

Very exciting race despite all of the yellow flags/safety cars. Agreed on Hamilton, he was solid despite some poor luck (safety cars bringing the field up to him). Sato was also very impressive, big day for Super Aguri.

I haven't yet seen the crash but it's remarkable what those cars can endure these days.

I heard he only broke his leg. I was fearing the worst when I saw it live. Thank goodness.

Some of the drivers seemed critical of the MTL circuit because of all the yellow flags. Alonso had to take a 10 second penalty.

Not this year. Although I probably would have had I known it was going to be so entertaining.

Not to mention the two black flags as well. It was the first time I've seen that happen.

Thats some awesome technology and safety F1 has in place. Only a sprained ankle and concussion after this crash because of the safety cell. And this picture is only the beginning of the crash. After this he flipped upside down back onto the race track and ended up resting against the OTHER wall.

The Montreal doctor who arrived on the scene thought for sure he was dead.

Denis, associate head doctor of the Canadian Grand Prix, thought he had seen the Polish driver's final hour. "We thought he was dead. Poor him, it's over. (We thought) there would be no more brain left, that there would be nothing left," he said.

They said on Global this morning that the driver wants to race again this weekend; if he gets medical clearance.
