Demko wasn’t getting that and contact was either as the puck was going past him or after. Good call.

Not only that. One of the worst playoff performers in Flames history!

It is the Canucks local team, yes.

Don’t you know, the new rule is you’re allowed to take a free sucker punch after your team kills a penalty.

No, he's just another one on a long, long list of players who didn't get it done for the Flames in the playoffs.
I could probably name several worse performers from the 1990 team alone.

VAN got off to a torrid start. NSH got off to a tepid start. Yes, all the games count, including those in Oct, however, since Nov 15th, here are their respective records:
NSH: 67G, 42-20-5, 89 Pts
VAN: 67G, 39-20-8, 86 Pts
I think a lot of people are under-estimating NSH.

Sure go for it.
Lindholm other than Game 1 against the Avs did lick all for us the past 5 years. garbage.

Definitely agree. Predators are a pain in the ass to play against. As they have been for many years

Sergei Makarov was with the Flames for two playoffs and only scored one goal. The team lost in the first round both times.
Jiri Hrdina was a good regular-season performer, but put up a grand total of one point in three playoff appearances with the Flames – including the '89 run.
Brad McCrimmon was defensive gold in '89, but in 1990 he actively quit on the team and led a group of players campaigning to get Terry Crisp fired. Cliff Fletcher had to dump him for a draft pick just to get rid of the malcontent.
As I say, that's just players who were on the 1990 team. I mentioned that team because it was obvious that they were playing to get the coach fired. The low point was a 12-4 playoff loss to the sub-.500 L.A. Kings. Lindholm was never part of anything like that.
