Just got back from the WSOP in Vegas. Anyone who loves poker has to go see this at least once in their life.
It was cool to be just walking around and see Johhny Chan, Gavin Smith, Negraneau, Vanessa Rousso (hot), Mike Matusow, Jennifer Harman, Phil Hellmuth, and countless others.
We also saw Shannon Elizabeth (Nadia from American Pie) who is big time into poker. I would like to get big time into her, holy shot is that chick hot! Even hotter in real lfe.
My cousin played the first $1500 no limit event and was out on the first day unfortuantely. But he did get interviewed by Terry Jones from the Edmonton Sun at the same time he was interviewing Negraneau. Should be a big feature in the Sun on Saturday or Sunday.
It was a really cool atmosphere to be a part of. Next year I think I am going to have to try and play in a $1500 event and see what happens.
I did manage to win about $700 playing poker while we were down there which helped absorb the costs.
Can't wait for next year and to win this pool again.
