So now they want some level of consistency but the quality isn’t there. Schneider isn’t all that impressive normally so I’m not too torn about him being there for one game based on one hit. You're right about borderline players though. This is definitely a team that could use a quantity for quality trade.

They’re overdue for 3ish runs now. Even bad teams score runs and they’re not a bad team. They’re just not great. I don’t know who the winner will be but I do think they’ll score at least four.

You're right about borderline players though. This is definitely a team that could use a quantity for quality trade.

They really believe in Varsho though. They paid a heavy price and now they want to ensure they exhaust his chances. I didn’t think much of his numbers when he came over to begin with and his swing solidified he was a pure fielder. And to that I say big deal, that’s a bench player, WAR be damned. Black holes kill rally’s and kill confidence. But I do understand their position here as he’s their guy they need to give chances to succeed. I’d much try Schneider at 3B just to have his bat instead of IKF.

Yeah because he's a nice guy, and got a mustache and a HR, he's a favourite. If that was IKF not starting if he hit the HR, yesterday, there wouldn't be the faux outrage.

He (Schneider) also dropped a fly ball yesterday. He's a role player until he can prove he can be consistent. The bloom came off the rose after a few weeks last year.

He's a good player and he'll get his playing time thorough consistency.

Yeah. Schneider to me may be okay but he’s not a physical specimen by any stretch. Just because he has a mustache and he’s a fan favourite doesn’t mean he deserves nonsense given to him. I do think he’s better than IKF at the plate, but that’s not saying much.

I think the mustache is ridiculous and they should have played Schneider. Varsho would have caught that (pretty tough) fly ball where the left field wall jogs but not hit the HR, which would have been a 1-0 loss.

I think Schneider has more potential than IKF, but I'd let anyone who hits a game winning HR play the next day.
