It's actually amazingly terrible. I was hoping for somthing that didn't resemble my grandmothers old couch from the 50s.
I know a few artists that could have done an amazing job! One from India, another from Pakistan. They both are 2nd generation, but have close family from south Asia.
It's AI, but somthing closer to this modern, but a bit of traditional mixed in

Is that an angry eye peeking out of the flames on the left of the C?

If only the Flames knew that all they had to do was come ask PuckSlap from CP for ideas on their SE Asia logo…
Flames are actually very late to these kind of theme nights. A lot of other teams (especially the Jets) have been doing them for years now.
Canucks have had a South Asian night for a while; but the population here is massive too.
Now they have Arshdeep Bains from Surrey making it to the big leagues himself which is super awesome to see; especially with his dad in full turban in the crowd.
I hope the Flames have a South Asian player one day, maybe I'll just have to get my kid there .
*But I find this design way too busy. A+ for thought and acknowledging the community, but not a fan of the result.
That post that got that guy banned seems like it was made by someone who doesn't use English as their 1st language. Lot of hate for two sentences of the tamest "racism" I have ever seen.
