Why are most drugs so restricted in their advertising that they can't even suggest what they're for in radio/tv ads (like Contrave, Ozempic, etc) but this "Tresiba" brand gets to be pretty explicit that it's an extended- release insulin? Why? I'm too lazy to look up the rules.

I thought it was a marketing thing. If you state what the drug is for you had to dedicate the same amount of airtime to the side effects as the benefits or something like that.
Does the Tresiba do a liability read in the commercial?

What if we gambled with drugs? Put 10 hydromorphones on the Flames, and if you win you get 20, if you lose, you have to take them all at once. Bet carefully.

In Canada, they can either advertise the name of the drug and not discuss what it does (which is usually the case) or talk about a disease or condition but not mention a drug for that disease (more rare form of advertising.)

I always find this British love/hate of the Monarchs to be both cute and interesting.
Lots of Nations still have a figurehead-Monarchy but only the Brits seem to really go all-out.
Thats the part I dont understand. Sure. Shout out to your history, but dont let it influence your future. Does any other Nation care as much about their Royals as England? I dont think so.
I'm okay with it, I'm pretty ambivalent. But I remember once being asked by one of my British clients what I'd do if I met the Queen (at the time) and I just said:
"I'd say; Hey Lizzy, whats happening?"
And they were aghast. But I'm sorry. Sure, I'm Canadian, but I'm no one's 'subject.'
