I didn't expect 6 points in 14 games bad on the Canucks.
I figured a tap in would be available to him every other game with the right deployment.

The wrath of disappointed Canucks fans can be brutal. Especially once the media get on to you. Hope he survives out there.

I like Kuzmenko and his raw skill set. Not sure he's going to be anything other than short term experiment here though. And that's ok.
Drive up his stock and move him to a place he wants to go next season.

Pretty poor record for them too
I feel spending futures for Zadorov and Lindholm won't age well

When your team is going really well.. sometimes the best policy is just not to disturb anything and let them roll.

How many times have we seen GMs try to make one monster add to an already good team in hope of putting them over and the opposite happens.

The Flames were not world beaters to begin with but Lindy was disrupting their mojo wherever he played pretty much all season.

If he's having that effect on the Flames, he sure as hell isn't helping the Canucks.

Alveen and Grandpa Ruth Benning'd this one, I'm afraid.

Depends. If he finds his groove in the playoffs and shuts down McDavid or MacKinnon in a series (he could), and Vancouver has a legit run, the deal will be fine in context.

Not that I'm suggesting that it's looking like a good deal for Vancouver, lol.

I still contend that Lindholm's defensive game was greatly overrated and most of it should have been attributed to Matthew Tkachuk.
Lindholm shutdown McDavid or MacKinnon? It's not going to happen. We've already seen him get moppped up by both of those guys in the playoffs.

Canucks could catch fire in the playoffs for sure. And beat Oilers or Colorado.
But Lindholm shutting down McDavid or Mackinnon? No way.

Er…
If your uncle doesn't have balls, she IS your aunt.

And if Lindholm could be an effective defensive forward, he would be… well… pretty much the same as usual.

So if lindholm does something he's never done successfully before now (shut down McDavid) it'll be alright for nuckville.. I guess technically you're right.
The probability of that? I think someone else on the Canucks will be tasked with that twice before it falls on Lindholm. At this rate they'll be sheltering him more than using him against the opposition's best.

Yeah, Maybe not likely but you gotta admit he's a talented player and Vancouver has a deep lineup.
If I was a Canucks fan I wouldn't be upset about having Lindholm right now. He can't find a spot on the roster now, but one injury and he might become critical difference maker.

If you have a castrated uncle, and give him a set of balls, that still doesn't turn him into your aunt.

Honest question. Was Lindholm totally exposed against those guys in the playoffs? Statistically?
Maybe my memory isn't great, but I always felt he was solid pk, defense, faceoffs.
