Honestly they should be doing that anyways. If he had a full NMC then they couldn't do anything without him but if he is limiting the trade to 2 to 3 teams by saying I will only sign with these 3 teams, Calgary should make the trade anyways. He can re-sign with any team of his choosing this summer. Only a playoff team would trade for him a rental. So for him worst case, he plays on a playoff team as a rental and then signs with Tampa in the offseason.

Speaking of Hanifin preferring TB, I know salary wise his salary and Point's salary aren't the same but player wise, both are 27 and Point is a center born in Calgary.

Point has a NMC.

If possible would this be a fair trade for both teams?
