What is the population of aging people in Gaza? How many people over 60?
Not trying to make a point, just seems like it is a very young population there.

Your argument continues to be that because Hamas killed 1200 innocent people, Israel can do whatever it wants in retaliation and kill tens of thousands of innocent people in the process.
It's a lousy argument, and you well know it and just won't admit it.

No, my argument is that Hamas has turned Gaza into a pariah state whose entire function is to wage war with Israel, which is why Hamas has broken ceasefire after ceasefire since their rise to power. It is why they use their own citizens as sacrificial pawns and continue to reject ceasefire proposals with Israel. Don’t believe me? Hamas has even said this.
No other country would tolerate this situation on their borders and I really could care less about how you view my argument. Innocent people die in every war and this war is no different. Saudi Arabias war with Yemen has seen 377 thousand people killed, many civilians, but no protests or delusional mouth breathers screaming genocide. Maybe if there were Jews involved in Yemen, Syria, or in the Congo more people would care about them.

"No other country would tolerate this situation on their borders"... except no other country would help create that situation on their borders in the first place. Maybe have a look at how Israel has treated the Palestinians over the past nearly century and ask yourself why Palestinians have such resentment toward Israel. Maybe just maybe the government of Israel ought to do some self reflection and realize that it has played a big role in creating the anger and hostility that currently exists toward it. The actions and decisions of the Israeli government is partially the reason why Hamas came into existence in the first place.

Both sides would genocide the other if given the chance, one side is just better at it.

The inability to differentiate between the terrorist group Hamas and innocent Palestinian children is disturbing but done intentionally to minimize their killing.

Incredibly sad story. Credit to the AP for not revising the headline too, where the majority of the time, they likely would have wrote something like, "Two twins died" instead of what they actually put, "Israeli strike killed them both."

After 10 years of trying, a Palestinian woman had twins. An Israeli strike killed them both
RAFAH, Gaza Strip (AP) — It took 10 years and three rounds of in vitro fertilization for Rania Abu Anza to become pregnant, and only seconds for her to lose her five-month-old twins, a boy and a girl.
An Israeli strike hit the home of her extended family in the southern Gaza city of Rafah late Saturday, killing her children, her husband and 11 other relatives and leaving another nine missing under the rubble, according to survivors and local health officials.
She had woken up at around 10 p.m. to breastfeed Naeim, the boy, and went back to sleep with him in one arm and Wissam, the girl, in the other. Her husband was sleeping beside them.
The explosion came an hour and a half later. The house collapsed.

Israeli airstrikes have regularly hit crowded family homes since the start of the war in Gaza, even in Rafah, which Israel declared a safe zone in October but is now the next target of its devastating ground offensive.
The strikes often come without warning, usually in the middle of the night.

She shouldn't have put her twins over top of a Hamas tunnel, her fault for being so careless.

But hey, at least Israel is rooting out Hamas, the only villains here. Its not like they are not pushing the next generation of Palestinians to take up arms against them or perpetuating generational hate. As this point they may as well kill them all...

That story brings me back too the argument in October about Hamas allegedly beheading babies.

My best friend and his wife recently welcomed a beautiful, healthy and happy baby boy via IVF after trying and failing for a while. I'm not even the parents but imagining how I'd feel if this situation to those poor parents in the article happened to my best friend and his wife... Can't even imagine.
We know that some in this thread won't feel anything though from knowing of this incident since their hearts are dead and any dead Palestinian is just and deserved. It's gross.

The federal government is resuming funding to UNRWA, the United Nations relief agency for Palestinians, CBC News has learned.
In addition to going ahead with a scheduled payment in April of $25 million, Canada's international development minister also intends to announce new funding, according to a senior government official...
.. The government source says Canadian officials have received an interim report from the United Nations examining the allegations. Based on that information, the Canadian government is comfortable resuming funding, the source said.
CBC News is not naming the source because they are not authorized to speak publicly about the decision.
Canada announced the suspension of funding within hours of a similar announcement by the U.S. — but Canada's next regular payment to the organization was not due until April.

Looks like the evidence was so "overwhelming" that they decided to up their funding.

I think right now it would be irresponsible to pull all funding from the organization that has historically been the engine that provides healthcare and facilities other entities for aid such as water, food, medicine, etc. If funding is to be pulled it should be phased so that the Gazan refugees who need assistance can get it right now rather than die.
