I can’t see the Bruins giving up much more than they did for Lindholm. Depends on how they view the value on Lohrei and Frederic but I’m guessing it is more than a couple seconds.

You have basically used up all of their cap for next season and left them with a 14 man roster.
I don't see Coleman leaving Calgary, but could see Mangiapane.

That aside, the peak prospects in Dallas were Harley, Stankoven and Johnson. I think that the ship has sailed on all of them. The good news is, that they hit on all of their secondary prospects lately. Bischel, Bourque could be legitimately better than any prospect in Calgary not named Wolf. I'd put them in the prospect rich category with NYR, LA and NJ.

Yeah I have a really hard time seeing Frederic as part of it.

I think Lohrei, and a 1st would be the one part of it that's similar to a 1st and Vaakanainen ... having a hard time seeing what the Flames seem to be heavily scouting off of the Bruins roster though.

1st = 1st
Vaakanainen = Lohrei
2 2nds = ???

Frank also made a fool of himself sending a letter demanding locker room access during the pandemic.

The letter seems to have disappeared now lol.

That was a 1st and 2x 2nd round picks?

1st, Geekie, Lysell is an equivalent package.

Plus they need to move money out too.

Maybe some teams see the same thing and are offering based on that.
There’s no keeping him anymore, he’s officially said he plans to go UFA aka time is over with the Flames.

I give Frank credit for making a career out of what is really no talent or skill.

But I have no respect for that guy at all, and he really just seems like a real P.O.S. with a giant ego from what I can see on any of his radio / podcast hits.

This was kind of indirectly my overall point, too... Dallas has some attractive pieces that Calgary should be looking at. Would make good trading partners. If they are indeed interested in Tanev, I hope Conroy is having some serious conversations with them. Getting Mavrik Bourque somehow in return would be terrific. Calgary could also take back Faksa if needed, if that helps to alleviate cap concerns.

Both don't have much for picks but could still put together some solid packages.

The Bruins could include Lysell and Lohrei as the base.

From Tampa we would need one of Gauthier/Howard and one of Thompson/Schmidt.

It all depends on how and where you want to pull value from.

God you know, if Hanifin goes to Boston Jake DeBrusk is coming back isn't he?

I’ve been in the be patient and let Conroy cook boat, but it’s kind of a let down after all that talk last week and the same lineup being trotted out today.

Already pictured Markstrom in red.

I see Lysell's name come up a lot but seems Boston is quick to give other kids a look in the NHL but not him. What's the story there? Issues?

When I look at their roster that is the roster piece that I think they'd want to move based on him being a UFA at seasons end...but even though his production is soft this year he still has played most of his minutes in the top 6 with them on either the Coyle or Zacha line and would be a piece that would probably be hard to replace.

Also is third among forwards in PK minutes.

So really can't see them moving him without knowing another forward is also coming back to replace those minutes.

Don't know, appears he's tracking just fine. 40p in 46 gp. RW a position of strength for the Bruins maybe?

The Bruins are going for it now. Extremely unlikely they deal away a useful roster player like Frederick, a 3rd line C on track to pot 20+ and who brings a lot of toughness. They’ll deal top prospects before they move a guy like that.

Looking at what Tampa has to offer for Hanifin? Yeeesh, if ppl didn't like what Boston had to offer, don't look at TB.

Would Mangiapane clear waivers at this point?
