Mangiapane and Kuzmenko are likely gone next year. Sharangovich is also a trade candidate

Can't see us getting both.

Mercer seems like the more logical choice as Conroy has discussed the teams desire to acquire a U-24 centre and the fact that we aren't really seeing a huge discrepancy in Holtz's deployment.

Honest question - suddenly the board has been hot on Mercer, but looking at his numbers he's taken quite the hit this year in his development. What's his realistic upside at this point if on the Flames? Is he their highest upside prospect?

It depends. If they also are looking at tanev or hanifin it could get done.

Probably a #2C. I think any player with top six potential coming back for markstrom is a coup

Elite 2C or 1B as a centre or 1RW potential.

Points wise probably roughly 70 but contributes in every facet of the game.

Could be a great player for a long time and I would argue that he would become thier highest upside player if acquired.
