Some research I did (social media gossip about who followed or unfollowed who) suggests there was some drama and the wives did not get along with Lindholm's wife

Didn't PLD have his dad on the Jets as well?
As for the comments about Lindholm by Coleman that is pretty telling and seems like it fights. The team seems a lot happier with him gone.

Yep, I'd stay away from him. He's just not worth the potential headache. I don't want the young players to be around other players who bring a negative vibe in the dressing room either.

She's a "fitness influencer" and has another Instagram account purely to show off the house they're building...I bet there's something to your research.

I assume the house is in Sweden?

Yup, Lindholm's partner doesn't seem to attend much gatherings that the other halves put on. The Swedish wives seem very close and have their own gatherings often. Lindholm's only seems cordial with Jacob's, and friends with Tanev's/Kadri's wife.

Yeah maybe lets not get into the weeds of stalking the social media of wives and girlfriends of players and trying to guess if they had beef with each other. That gets pretty uncomfortable pretty quickly.

The house thing has been going on for a while. I am not sure why someone building a dream house would impact the locker.

It's gotta be tough (aside from, you know, your husband being a millionaire) for some of those foreign wives if they don't have great English. Though most Swedes havegreat English.

How about we just not talk about non-players. Who cares. The player, Lindholm, wasn't playing as well as he could all season and it wasn't only us fans who noticed. No need to speculate further.

VERY unlikely the Flames would consider taking on PLD, after just cleansing the room. And I can't believe anyone here would be for it.
Don't overthink things, get the best return and keep moving forward. Adding a guy like PLD creates drama and problems. Accepting that voluntarily, when completely unnecessary, is not the path to building a winner.

There’s already creepy fans on X/Twitter that do that kind of stuff. Keep it outta here.

Only way we take on PLD is if Huberdeau is going the other way. Maybe LA actually consider this.

After we just got him confident and feeling good about himself and gelling with his new linemates? Yeah, let's get rid of that guy, who's been nothing but a team player, even throughout his struggles for a toxic entitled piece of ####. I'm sorry for the obvious sarcasm, but I vehemently disagree with entertaining that notion aside from the salary dump.

The PLD stuff is a bit like your friend who refuses to believe everything they've heard about someone they're interested in, their history and repeated behaviours because they will be the one who changes them! Your friend is just that special!

I feel like Huberdeau is and will continue to be a really key cog in the culture improvement of this team. Now is not the time to subtract him (unless someone makes you an offer you can't refuse, which is extremely unlikely).
 He isn't hurting us.

 His game has vastly improved.

He seems to be really well liked by everyone.

Overpaid yes. But if he keeps this up, he's narrowed the gap on how much he's overpaid. We arent up against the cap anymore, so right now it really doesn't matter.
