Well, the odds or probability is actually greater than 1 in a million. Try 1 in 300!

I think you are vastly underestimating how much digging I can do in the next 873 years!

Make it a family legacy maybe... ?

Maybe we can split it, I'll tell you what, you do the digging and I'll bring the beer.

Excellent cross thread-age.....

How much beer would you need to survive the rest of your life in an emergency bunker? Thats a question worth debating.

I'm gonna bring about 500 beer. But I like my variety so I'm probably gonna make sure that I bring at least 20 different beers.

chances are that your shelter would be crushed by an asteroid the size of a dogs head.

And everyone outside of your shelter would survive.

I bet one of the asteroids will land on July 4th and contain a Decepticon.

Man you guys are silly. There is a 50/50 chance of getting hit by an asteroid. We either will, or we wont. See......50/50. That's why the Oilers are always a good bet to win the the Stanley Cup every year (they either will or they wont....50/50) and all of their prospects are so highly rated (they'll either be a superstar or not.....again 50/50).

This shameful Grease-bashing thread hijack has been shamefully brought to you by the RDDGBC (Reggie Dunlop Daily Grease Bashing Club).

An interesting thing to illustrate how difficult statistics can sometimes be to grasp when you're simply going based on intuition:

To this point, 30 people have posted in this thread. Without pulling out a calculator (I'm the only nerd allowed to do that), what are the chances that two or more of us share the same birthday? Answer below, in white:

**There's a 69.6% chance that 2 or more of us share a b'day, although I haven't accounted for leap years.**
