Yeah. That’s happened a few times to the flames. Even last year, I’m pretty sure they had the same points as Florida but missed in the west while the panthers went on a run to the finals.

To me that was a loose puck.
Everyone had a right to fight for it. And if you're out of your crease your protections are gone. You're just a player.

The frustrating thing is how often these calls on allowed/disallowed goals are happening and the flames seem to always be on the wrong side of it. It’s likely cost them at least a couple points in the standings this year. Not saying it's a conspiracy or anything… it’s just very frustrating how these things keep going against them. And I can go back further to point out how missed goal calls have cost the flames more than any other team in history. Wake up refs. Do our gorgeous jerseys distract you or something?
