Marc Savard is sinking the Flames season. Just fire him already. Flames are easily in a playoff spot if he could run a competent PP.

Backlund and crew as PP2 were absolutely mauled both times they stepped on the ice. It's now swung momentum the other way. Flames still had 3 minutes after the goal, that line was on twice after and barely got any possession. Only PP1 did anything.

Tables have turned off that 4 minute special teams display.

Flames on their heels and the Devils crowd is right into it now.

Yes, he is not telling the Flames to suck and be stationary. This is true.

But what is he positively contributing?

What ideas are he bringing to the table to get the most out of the group?

"don't suck" isn't enough.
