I still remember him helping everyone during the flood. which actually made me feel really disappointed in Iginla. Sure you got traded months before but I don't think he ever came back to help.

We laid my father to rest on Saturday, and my dad was a huge Lanny fan (even mentioned Lanny in his Eulogy) as a result I am a huge Lanny fan. To the level where the Lanny shrine in my office gets sideways looks, lol. (Not creepy!)
I have had the pleasure of meeting Lanny on many occasions, he is a stellar human and I wish him all the best in his recovery.

A great person, a great player, a fantastic ambassador for the city and the Calgary Flames, and I would say an important part of the fabric that is this city for his constant support of so many charities and events. Hope he gets better soon.
