Tonight was actually a really entertaining game, they lost, another nail in the coffin before they sell everything. I don't understand why anyone hates this result, unless they actually think this team is good enough to make the playoffs.

Can you imagine how bad they would be if they did not have a fun coach and kept going like last year. Zary and Pospisil would be lighting up the AHL while the Flames had Lucic and some other 37 year old character scrub taking up time in the top 6. Small blessings this year that we don’t have to watch senior citizens mail it in.

The Flames have shown a lot of heart at times this season, but these last 3 home games - including one against their biggest rival - show that the vets have already checked out.

I predict they will lose to CBJ and beat CHI, setting the stage for Conroy to start cleaning house after the all star break.

These games have also been a reminder of how handcuffed the team will be by Huberdeau going forward. $10.5M in dead cap space. Has he even once scored a big clutch goal to seal a win for the Flames? Has he even once dominated a game. He’s a good complimentary player but that contract looks worse by the month.

They're going to. I'm guessing the offers aren't great yet, so Conroy is waiting for something better. He'll wait until the TDL if he has to. No point in making a bad deal today just to make a deal.

He's not dumb. This team isn't good. Changes will happen sooner than later.
