I understand that. But the collective hate has surrounded him longer than that. As far as I know, no one here knows what happened in Chicago, and as I mentioned, the hate has been around much longer than the Chicago thing.

So let me put it differently, why did we hate Perry so much before Chicago? Because he was a Flames killer? That's why I didn't like him, but I sure did want that player on the team.
