I'm not ashamed(okay, well I am a little) to say that I saw Def Leppard a couple years ago. They put on a pretty show back then. I'd like to see Styx, as well.

Ha - I got a pair of tickets in 110 as well for this show. It's very cheesy but the Lep puts on a great live show.
Isn't Styx being fronted by Gowan these days?

Now Gowan is the front man for Styx? I'm not sure I can handle that much 80's in one night without gowing out a mullet to fit in! |

Throw Gowan into the concert mix and i'd be beating the doors down for tickets. That's another artist i'd like to see

If Styx with Gowan serving as lead singer doesn't cover Strange Animal, the paying crowd has every reason to riot. Interesting double bill, but it's pretty much got the late 70's to late 80's covered.

oh well, I'll still get seats on Monday

Word of advice. I saw Def Leppard last time they were here (maybe a lttile over a year ago), I was on the second level, about 10-15 rows up. The acoustics sucked! All I could hear was noise, barely could hear Elliots voice at all. I then moved down about 7 rows in the isle, and it started to sound better. I spent most of the rest of the concert on the first level, in the isles.

This time, I'm making sure I get level 1.

Interesting...

I have Row 1 Sect 227 and 11 Sect 110...

I thought that 227 would be closer but if the sound quality sucks then whats the point.

They're too old (like me) to see em up close..

Ol Joe can still belt out a tune though.....

You'll be fine in Level 2, Row 1. No problem. Sound quality really improved once we got past row 6-7 on the second level, we just weren't allowed to sit in the isle that close, so we had to go down to level 1 and stand at the top of the exit.

I like the row 1 option for the fact that I can put down my smuggled in drink and wave my lighter high to "Two Steps Behind".........

From what I read on Wikipedia, Styx usually does a version of Gowan's "A Criminal Mind".
