Literally everything is going right for the Oilers right now. All the little bounces are going their way. Sooner or later the odds are going to go the other way for them. Maybe Saturday night.

Seattle played in NY tonight. Home after a 5 game far east road trip? Nope, have to stop off to Edmonton for a Thursday game. Unreal.

Not necessarily. But if Vladar beat the leafs on Thursday and Treliving gives up their first round pick for him on Friday only to end up missing the playoffs anyways… then, yeah, they might fire him.

Keefe will be. Tre has a habit of firing coaches shortly after contract extensions

I would think Shanahan will be on top of a cliff if they don’t get past 1st round let alone not make playoffs

Helps the Flames to beat Seattle actually.. so I'll allow this lady luck/soft schedule train to roll for another night, before the Flames stick a fork in them.

looking at the standings I think its better than 50% the Leafs miss

are they going to outplay all those teams the rest of the year?

Caps, Devils, Islanders, Pens, ect. all knocking at the door

MLSE also has a new boss just announced, former Sportsnet/Rogers media president Keith Pelley, who among other things, negotiated the current SNet deal way back when, so who knows how that dynamic goes with all the sports properties, but he'll be keen on the Leafs first and foremost.
