Possibly, but Jerry's also gotta be getting pretty desperate as time is running out on life for him. Better question might be does Belichick want to go there. Even ignoring having to put up with Jerry, their cap situation is rough with who they need to extend and how they almost have no choice but to extend Dak with his cap number next year.

I find the "idiot coach" comments a little bit funny. That "idiot" turned the culture of the franchise around and made them a division winner in a pretty short time. They were supposed to be perpetually terrible after trading Stafford.
Sure he takes unconventional risks but those were the things he came saying he would do. It's all part of his DNA and honestly, it's worked out way more than it's burned him.
As a Lions fan, I've turned into a big Dan Campbell guy and I was as sceptical as anyone when he was brought in.
