How have they not picked a lane in your view? They sold Toffoli and Zadorov and have marketed the other ending UFAs.
Should they tell pro hockey players (who are paid on performance) not to try and win a hockey game?

Not to be hypercritical, but, isn't a full rebuild a couple of seasons too late? The reset should have begun when you guys turned over Gaudreau, Tkachuk, and Monahan.

That's the frustration point with fans though. We're now committed to a core of players that can't win, so we don't want the situation made worse by doubling and tripling down on a team that doesn't have a foundation worth building upon.

They've already traded some UFAs, will trade some more soon, and brought up some young guys who are performing well.
Not sure what some people want.
