What is Maloney supposed to say on camera? That they're going to move everyone, all the while showing no confidence in the players or coaches and not giving the regular (not us CP hardcores) fans any hope? His answers are totally expected and non-controversial. His words are lip service to generic TV interview time and an expected nothingburger.

Teams do sometimes announce rebuilds/retools and announce that almost no one is untouchable. I believe that the Rangers, Blackhawks, and Sharks did that. But no, I don’t think the Flames would ever do this.
Congrats to Mangiapane for his first point in 13 career games against the Blackhawks.

Yes, you can't push the goalie's pad, to deter him from making a save, but that isn't what happened there - Lindholm was going for the puck, and he has just as much right to it as Mrazek. And Lindholm got to it first, Mrazek did not have position.
That should have counted.
