Just wanted to send out an FYI that the EB Games in Sunridge has WiiPlay and the Zellers there has controllers... but they're in the back so you have to ask really nice for them.

I saw a number of wiimotes and nunchuks at the Future Shop in Coventry Hills the other day.

If you're looking for an entertaining game, Super Paper Mario is pretty amusing. Really funky mix between side-scroller and RPG, along with a couple 3-D aspects.

I bought my Wiimotes there but didn't see any nunchucks... this was a couple days ago.

Zelda is awesome! I would highly recommend it. Wario Wares is also a really popular game.

That's where I got mine. Then again, I drive by it everyday. (BTW - signage said the Metis Trail fly-over was supposed to open today. YAY!)

I got mine from best buy via console watch. It worked really well. I asked for an e-mail when the Wii became available. I had about 30 minutes to buy one because bestbuy.ca had about 100 and futureshop.ca had about 200

I can't wait until all of that construction is finished...especially when the new train station opens.

Finally got the time to finish Zelda.

Disappointed with the ease of the final Zant and Ganon battles. I went in with my 4 bottles full of fairies expecting a ring a ding dong dandy. What I got were a couple of lacklustre battles and no need for fairies or potions. The first Zelda game where I don't think i was ever really stumped on what to do next, or how to kill a boss.

Just called them, they said they haven't had any in 2 weeks. Will keep bugging them though.

I got mine at Toys 'r Us one day. I was at the mall in the evening one day and thought I'd wander in and check for fun. I fully expected that they wouldn't have any as they never had before and it was late in the day.

I walked in and they had a sign saying they had some. I grabbed one and asked the clerk why they still had them. He had absolutely no idea. It simply happened to be the first day they didn't have person after person calling or walking in looking for one. I haven't seen one in a store since I got mine back in Feb (or was it beginning of March?).

I got the first e-mail within the day, but it took maybe 3 or 4 days before something came up where I could actually buy it. Futureshop and bestbuy are probably going to be the best bet for getting a system.

This is a fun website that approximates how many of each next gen console has been sold internationally. I'm not sure how accurate it is, but I would guess they're not far off. At this rate, Wii will surpass the 360 by the end of the year.

http://www.nexgenwars.com/

On a similar note, Mario Party 8 is outin four days!

Anybody get the chance to get their hands on Super Mario Strikers yet? I think it's out now. I quite like the first one for the gamecube and might consider picking this one up too. Any impressions?

I just picked up a console at Best Buy. Each store in the city got around 40 this morning. I was part of a ~25 person lineup though, so they could be gone by now. There was a lineup at Future Shop too, so I imagine they got some too.

All the Toys 'R Us stores in the city will have some tomorrow morning. Not sure how many or what time they open.

Good Luck.
