I've had a pretty good day so far today...seeing the Coilers lose just makes it even better.

Funny watching how absolutely exhausted McDavid and Draisaitl looked in the last 3 minutes. The Islanders could do anything they wanted in their zone because the oilers forwards had absolutely no effort left.

Win 8 in a row, then lose three in a row and counting. Wasting any hope they might have had.

Gotta love it

Oilers remain 12th in the conference by winning percentage and 25th in the NHL overall. Great work all around. Was worried when they went on their heater but things seem to be coming around again.

What I sent to Spittin' Chiclets after having to deal with seeing them getting plastered on Oileraid during their win streak.

Why did monster truck Micheals keep saying “Long Island”, aren’t the islanders in Queens now?

I suppose I just never associated queens and Brooklyn the same as Long Island

May be they can hire McDiver's pee wee coach, they might get another 8 games winning streak.

David Rittich back on the scene with his season debut. Still rooting for the guy. Good for him.

I mean as soon as the coach starts losing, you just fire the coach and then you get a win streak. Why don't other teams who have lost games just fire the coach? Are they stupid? -- Grand Poobah Katz... probably

Oilers also lost three straight before the eight game winning streak. 8-6 in their last 14 games.

Michaels should know better because he is from this part of the world. Queens may be geographically located on the island called Long Island. But, culturally and politically it is definitely not a part of "Long Island." Queens is a part of New York City and no one in Queens would call themselves a "Long Islander." That Long Island starts at the city boundary.
