The next big highway project should be twinning 22X east of the city to connect up with the Trans-Canada around Gleichen.

The next project should be C train Airdrie all the way to Okotoks.

My "Next Projects" wishlist:
1. Shovels actually in the ground for the taxpayer subsidized new Flames Arena with second ice surface for Flames practices & community usage
2. Proper Fieldhouse
3. Renovate/Rebuild McMahon Stadium, as in move all season ticket holders to the West Side, knock down & rebuild the entire East Side, then repeat the process for the West Side rebuild all while the Stampeders continue to play home games at McMahon.

I think that’s gonna be a hard sell to Airdrie and Okotoks. They’re not gonna want big city “problems” having that easy of time travelling there

There's no way or is this actually a thing?
20 km crosses Siksika and the speed limit has been dropped to 80. Hwy goes through some pretty populated parts of the Reserve and I cant see the residents interested in 4 lanes at 100km/h nor can I see it worth it for a bunch of overpasses.

My face is a bum!

Does the McKenzie Town traffic circle still have the break in the circle on the wrong side because someone copy/pasted one from a country where they drive on the left?
Edit: Sorry ... "Towne". Ugh.

Since this is the Ring Road thread and a provincial project my wish list for provincial projects is:
1. 3 lane QE2 from Calgary to Edmonton
2. Highway 1 bypass around Strathmore and Medicine Hat. Full free flow from BC border to Saskatchewan border.
3. interchange / remove that stupid set of lights just east of Calgary
Provincial funds required but within the city of Calgary:
1. complete Green line south to South Hospital and north up Centre Street

I know I'm a bike guy, but yes to this. And implement the rule that semis are in the right hand lane and middle lane only to pass. Left lane wide open Europe style.

I don't know what the plan is, but that's what they should be doing. The first phase should be to get it twinned to Hwy 24. While that's being done, try to get a deal done to go through the reserve. If you can't get a deal done, bypass the reserve to the north by Namaka.

We’ll need at least a couple of weeks to complain about the completed project
