Great game! First Flames win I’ve seen live since 2009 and a first ever for my wife. We had a blast including being shown on the jumbotron and catching a hilarious Pete the plumber shirt.
Epic games from Coleman and Weegar. Great game from Sharangovich too getting a deserved third star. Also thought Vladar and Zary were deserving of stars. Zary like a 10 year vet taking the game into his hands when the Flames were on the verge of collapse.
Tampa looked tired but still a super dangerous team, especially Kucherov. Well done to the Flames limiting their chances and staying disciplined.

What's even cooler is at 228 million views, the song actually blew up at the beginning of the pandemic and her and her friend basically went to a rooftop parkade in downtown Calgary, taped an iphone to the front of the car, while she stood on top while her friend slowly drove around.
Really cool story as normally when a song blows up the record company flys you out and spends hundreds of thousands on top production, but she had just got sent home to Calgary due to restrictions and said "**** it this is blowing up I'll just make something to get a video online".

There are systemic issues and our blueline depth sucks (boy did that happen quickly), but the problem with Vasi is that he's a $9.5M cap hit until the end of 2028...we're not even halfway through that contract and he doesn't look good at all. Unless he turns it around, this is a massive albatross sitting on our books. Vasi at that salary is expected to be one of the 5 best goalies in the league...right now he doesn't look like one of the 25 best goalies in the league.

This game is a microcosm of why this is not a playoff team. Need to stack wins, got insanely lucky in the last one and instead of coming out and building on it against a bad team, this is the effort level. Generating absolutely nothing offensively and can’t manage the puck. Only positive you can say is the defense is getting better from a quality chance generation standpoint but it doesn’t matter because they can’t get a routine save.

Huberdeau is not worth $10.5M and is the worst contract in the NHL.
Huberdeau has generally been very underwhelming in his time as a Flame.
Doesn't mean he is the worst player in the NHL, and also doesn't mean he's useless.

That's a trick question on both sides.
AI is just software instantiated on a fungible processing platform. Since it can be freely copied from one place to another with no loss of function, it doesn't really have a ‘self’.
Now, Oiler fans do have selves, but their higher brain functions are interrupted for some reason. If they became self-aware, they would cease to be Oiler fans.
So you have one thing that just doesn't work that way, and another that's broken and doesn't work at all.

It's funny to see Oilers fans pulling their hair out and stressing over the OOT and not being able to keep pucks out, while Flames fans are just hoping for fun games on the ice without any expectations. At the end of the night team no expectations keeps pace while team cup or bust loses ground
It's just icing on the cake at this point to still be closer to playoffs than sportsnet's team of destiny. In fact its downright funny
