I was a huge Huberdeau apologist for quite a while.

No more. He is by far the worst player I have ever watched on this team.

He is worthless.

Ouch that loss must have hurt. Finally up by 2 going into third and lose. Abs top players show up for 5 minutes and get the win.

Rough way to lose after leading by 2, Colorado got a bit of luck and that deflated the Flames and mistakes started happening.

Brutal defensive game.

Lots of puck watchers and forgetting their man.

Taking out arguably our steadiest defenseman 15 seconds in didn't help matters. Five D against a speedy, skilled team like this is a dog's breakfast. Sucks to see them lose but to me, this wasn't unexpected and it certainly was far more competitive than it had any business being.

Great game, entertaining, solid effort. Especially with only 5 D.

The 5-4 goal was ridiculous luck, and that gave the Avs momentum.

No penalty on the Tanev hit, no replay of it, no mention of it at all. Then the refs give the Avs 4 PPs to 2. Ridiculous.

Toffoli even strength goals: 8
Sharangovich even strength goals: 7

+ Suniev had a monster weekend in college.
2 games played, 3 goals, 3 assists and 6 shots in each game.

Trade looking pretty good.

They were fine until a ridiculous series of breaks led to goal 4

Thanks for this positive.

Toffoli will regress since he's getting to that age, plus he's hasn't been extended. Over time I expect the Flames will come out on top in that trade.

Good first trade by the GM.
