To us even as fans we understand for days now, that there was insistent silence on this. Roberts being in the game, and being part of a corporation would know what the rules are. So either he’s the dumbest person on earth or it’s part of some strategy. I’m willing to guess it was somehow intentional.

I was worried about that, but am less worried we were just a pawn once we found out about the facility visit. Still possible of course, but at least Ohtani is going through all the motions.
