Looks like his type

Younger, faster, more aggressive Brett Ritchie
Being young and fast probably is why Sutter never played him.

Also lets not forget him taking a massive crap on our prospect pool when they cut that B group and sent them all back.

Baffling.

The prospect pool contains the exact depth players that the Flames need right now. If the top 6 was more consistent, we'd have an actual team.

Has anyone checked on Gaskal? Is he alright? Haven't seen him posted the ATL yet. Or I'm going blind?

Was referring to comments from Sutter about all the entire prospect pool.

Well, it's Vancouver, so it very well could be two pairs of married brother/sister twins.

Are the Canucks okay after the league forced them to play the first back to back in league history?

Lol never heard so many excuses in my life

B2B fatigue? I don't know. They looked like the Canucks I've known for the last 2-3 years.

One dimensional Hughes a tire fire defensively? Boeser shooting into the goalie's crest? Pettersson only a factor on the PP, otherwise getting pushed around physically?

They were about as advertised.

I think every one just got a preview of what they'll regress to on a regular basis by season's end, more than a "contender" having an off night because of emotional exhaustion, or whatever they're going on about.

16 game sample lol.

Wow, that was a surprisingly spirited effort by the Flames. I didn't expect them to take over the game like they did. I definitely expected more from the Canucks with their current record and all, but I suspect they were out of gas with travel and games played recently.

Without a doubt, this is has to be the ideal line up going forward as virtually all the lines pulled their weight yesterday, Huberdeau probably played the best game I've seen from him in a long time and surprise surprise, it happened with Backlund as his centerman. I honestly have no idea why it took so long to put these guys together and why so many people were so fixated on a Huby-Elias duo. I thought they looked horrible together from right from the start dating back to last year and it's kind of annoying how much higher up the standings this team would be if everyone wasn't so fixed with the 10-28 combo.

Props to Pospisil and Zadorov for bringing the jam tonight. Haven't seen the kind of moxie since Matthew Tkachuk was here. A few jabs to JT Miller's mug, basically showing zero respect and zero fearlessness, love it. Zadorov really driving up that value too. That one shift where he leads the rush and drops it back to Huberdeau for a one timer then skates hard down and crushes Pettersson on his back. Have to think rival GMs are watching and salivating at the idea of this behemoth doing that for their team.

Plot twist: they are all brothers and sisters.

Pospisil is what I love about hockey. Hopefully they don't lose him like they lost Hathaway.

Huberdeau - Backlund - Coronato is still a line we have to see in the future

Sorry, I'll probably get around to it tomorrow morning sometime,

Haven't really had much time lately for anything other than work, eat, sleep

You have to worry about him with his concussion history and style of play though. He did everything he could not to fight last night, but eventually, someone will make him fight.

After doing hundreds of games over the past years, I think a reprieve is just fine! To be honest, very impressed with how you’ve haven’t said “ f it, I’m done”

Thanks for all your work, hope to see more!

Maybe you need a backup! (?) Much as we all enjoy the ATLs....you also need time for a life.
