LOL, I'd take that and run. That's overpay for Zadorov. Then you flip Klingberg at the deadline for whatever you can get.

There is about zero chance the Flames are not on Klingberg's no trade list. He isn't waiving that to go from a playoff team in Toronto to a bottom feeder here. If the Leafs dump Klingberg they will need to find a team that has a chance at the playoffs.

Then they can send the 5th and Klingberg to some team that isn't on the list for a pack of hockey cards and send the 1st our way.

I’d be fine with Zadorov for Klingberg and a first. Best case he somehow plays decently and we flip him at the deadline. Worst case who cares.
