It may have been nothing. But in that scrum where Mcavi and Drain recieved their penailties. It sure looked the Mcavi grabbed a ref by the face and pushed him out of the way.

Lucky for him he inherited Jarnkrok at his current cap hit. Has to be one of the more team friendly contracts in the league. He had just come off a 6 year deal at $2MM per. And then he signs a 4 year deal at $2.1MM per. That's a player who has left some money on the table.
20 goals last year for the Leafs, career high and has always been a productive NHLer.
Sharangovich would be a comparable for the Flames IMO and he makes 50% more.
