I think the most realistic explanation for Huberdeau is that he’s getting older and isn’t as good as he used to be. I don’t think it’s much more complicated than that. He works hard, he’s just not very good.

And he wouldn’t be the first player to fall off a cliff around his age. It just sucks that the Flames invested that much in him before he even played a game here.
