There were big saves after as well. He’s the reason this isn’t a blowout. And I can show you bad goals from ever top goalie ever, so it’s not exactly correct to say “a top goalie makes those saves”. Usually they do. Usually he does as well.

Kadri’s back-check on the third Dallas goal was something else.
Him and Huberdeau need to be benched. This is painful to watch. The Flames should be looking at all legal options to terminate those contracts.
Maybe we can organize a CP mission to get them hooked on sports betting or something.

Agreed, to a point.
However, when those high profile and highest paid guys look very docile and disconnected, defensively and offensively ….
It pretty much takes the focus away from the other reasons , IMO.

We joke about it, but I think fun is where it all starts with "rebooting" this team and the aura around it that has made it a chore to watch for some time.
If these guys stop playing afraid to lose because they're out of it anyways, they might actually remember how to be creative out there.
Taking the pressure away might provide the right environment for Huby and Kadri to exorcise their demons.
