I would say last season proved moreso that he is a HOF coach.
Again, with just average goaltending (not good or great), Flames likely would've gotten 6 more wins, that would've been 105 points. Would that have been enough to win the division? Can't remember.
But with the apparent toxicity he provided, it was assumed (wrongly) that the team would perform better. The opposite has occurred actually. Sutter made more out of this team than what they are.
