LOL - not often do Spurs supporters get accused of being glory hunters. Suckers for punishment maybe...

Don't mean to be pedantic but Gazza didn't win us the '91 cup final. Des won it for us with that OG

Gary neville saying tottenham were in a more stable position than man United this summer is wild revisionism

No manager, dof facing charges, lost best player and captain in same window, conte had destroyed any morale inside the club

Keane is right about fernandes not being right captain either

Antony may be a bigger bust than maguire

Fernandes is the furthest thing from a leader. Whiny, drops the head when chips are down.

As for Antony. Agreed but at least try him on the LW. Don't get this inverted wingers crap.

Funny thing this weekend, I stopped at Tim Hortons in Seton wearing my Spurs hoodie and someone walked by and jokingly said 'all aboard the bandwagon' - low key pissed me off. They don't realize how much I've suffered over the last 40 years.

The craziest part of that is that Everton faces FFP allegations and might face s 12 point deduction. I know that you're no fan, and hope for the worst for them, but how are they getting that when City faces 100 allegations and they're just rolling along? How has Chelsea avoided anything when they just wrote off that $1.5B "loan" from Roman?

I know, I shouldn't even waste time thinking of these things, but I can't say I understand how that has happened.

Money. Thats how that happened. Money and rampant corruption.

Roman splashed a lot of cash around England and nobody wants anyone to know where it came from, ditto with City. Lots of people were happy to take their cash when nobody cared where it came from.

Well yeah, but it’s still crazy to me that these “non-financially doped” clubs gave FFP issues whereas the ones that everyone knows are cheating are left untouched. It’s preposterous, really!

This is quite an officiating clinic in the Newcastle/Arsenal match. Havertz had a brutal challenge (probably not red, but VAR checked). Atwell handed out a yellow to him and 3 to Newcastle players. Just losing control of things.

Man I hate Newcastle as much as anybody right now, but Havertz just flew in studs up and barely missed breaking a leg, possibly should have had a red, and newcastle gets 3 yellows from Atwell for dissent afterwards.. just embarrassing refereeing. Earlier today Palace had 6 yellows mostly for dissent to Burnley getting none. And these players to my eye are not getting right in the ref's face they are just complaining.

I get that the dissent needs to stop, Rooney started something there screaming in the faces of refs that was unacceptable and should have been dealt with at the time, but this is ridiculous.

Yeah I agree that tackle was a horror show. he's been very lucky he didn't hit the plant leg with those studs or he would have been out for a long time suspended. I don't get that with the EPL, you only punish an act like that when it genuinely hurts someone even though there's a terribly reckless tackle at best and more likely seemed to be intent to injure.

Which is exactly why players dive. You have to at least make it look reckless to get the call.

Havertz got a yellow that he deserved. Shouldn’t have been a red

Man there was a lot going on on that goal, I don't envy the VAR. Nice intense game to watch as a neutral. I do think the dissent yellows are arbitrary and ridiculous. Arsenal surrounded the ref after that goal and not one yellow to them. Hard to understand where the line is there.
