I hope the Oilers start Campbell as he seems more likely to have a stinker vs the Flames.

I literally don't know what to expect in this game. Will we see two teams boring us to tears? Will we see high-scoring pond hockey? Will we see an epic beat-down by one team on the other? Will we see a bench clearing brawl leading to the suspension of the entirety of both teams for ten games?

I dunno.

And I don't know which way I *want* it to go either, at this point.

At the very least the flames will win the jersey contest.

I had a dream last night they won 2-1 in OT.

It was on a 2 on 1 after a failed Oilers chance that bounced off the post and in.

There are many games the Flames could lose if that is your goal as a fan, no need to cheer for a loss against the Edmonton Oilers.

Even in that first photo, Kadri looks checked out.

Maybe the virtual board advertisements won't work out there.

14 - 1 Oilers on 20 shots. Markstrom is the wrong goalie vs Edmonton. Expect at least 5 weak goals from him.

The oilers are wearing BROWN pants .

Let's pray the brown pants were worn for a reason for the first time this season.

I wanna see a.clinic put on by our D on how to hit , crash and bang. I don't care about the score but I'd like a W or a 1 goal differential.

Am I asking for tooooo much?

Go.Flames GO and don't come home with the vile stench of Edmonton.on you.

Crush your enemy drive them before you and I wanna hear the sobbing lamentation of Jay Woodcroft, Ron Maclean Gene Principe and all the parade planning delusional oiler fans

Nah, it's setting expectations higher for the organization.

For too long has this team/fanbase been satiated by small, irrelevant victories.

You know when the time to beat Edmonton was? The playoffs two years ago when they destroyed the Flames.

Winning today does not benefit the Flames. It does not help them build a team that could:

1) Beat the Oilers in the Playoffs
2) Win the Stanley Cup

Those are the victories I want to see, and the Flames need to hit rock bottom in order to begin admitting there is a problem with how they construct teams.

Both teams bood off the ice in the second period.

Kadri and Kane start a line brawl.

Kane suspended 41 games for betting on his penalty minutes.

Woodcock fired Monday morning.

Flames win 3-1.

With McDavid back I fear the result won't favour the Flames. I don't see how he doesn't show up for this event, and as usual he lights the Flames up. Let's hope the Flames show something today though.

The time to beat Edmonton is anytime

If a cup is your only way to find enjoyment in hockey get a new hobby. 32 teams...with all the rebuilds of your wildest dreams it likely still doesn't happen. Buffalos 12 year rebuild is uh.

Chicago didn't go 0-82 last season

Eventually all pants in Edmonton turn brown. There's something in the water.
