Team needs to be called out, this isn't an optimal start and players need to start playing with urgency.

I would've taken 'Ronato out too, it's helpful for rookies to take a step back occasionally. Wouldn't mind him getting games in the ahl at some point too if the team isn't doing well.

We as fans all want the best for the Team. I want the Team to be a top team in the league, and I still love them even when they aren't.
...I just think that combined with last season, that there's a lot more "good" to see with this roster construction. So, I'd like to see them begin the long road to changing it at a foundational level.

So true, well said.
Ward was too soft so they needed a firmer coach, got that firmer coach.. was too much for them.. got a softer coach.. no changes ( thus far) Bring Sutter back?? Keenan as assistant coach?!

Are we really surprised there’s still issues?
Your top line center and your top 2 D man both want nothing to do with Calgary unless they get fat paycheques.
Some of us said this exact thing in the off-season, those guys should have been unloaded before the season because now all it’s done is distracted the team. Man this roster needs an enema something fierce, talk about botching the best rebuild opportunity and then doubling down the following year after the prior GM saddled the franchise with dead weight.
Z should have a letter on his jersey, the guy bleeds for this team when 75% don’t give a ####.

Also, I love Zadorov. His on ice play may not always be top 4 caliber so he gets exposed but he is still a solid top 5 dman.
If the price and term is right I would have no issues re-signing him.
