Ovy only has 4 shots on net so far this season too. He was their biggest weapon.

It would not bother me at all to see Ovi lose a step and not reach the all time goal record.

I want to see him break the record. It also seems like his team is giving him a wildly unfair advantage by prioritizing Ovy breaking the record over actually competing.
Gretzky also quit while he was still a serviceable player. He didn't hang on past the point he should have, just to pad his records.
3 games is a pretty small sample size. We'll see how Ovy progresses.

If you look at the way he's getting his points, it makes it even more impressive. He's being tenacious and forcing his way into scoring positions. Exactly what everyone said he couldn't do in the NHL due to his size.

Are lots of people stating Lindholm sucks? He's been killer on the PK and playing PPG hockey. Most of the complaints I'm seeing are aimed at Kadri, Huberdeau and Vladar.

Phillips is just trying to stay in the NHL.
Their goal lines are entirely different.

You're right. One guy has played over 700 games and has earned his contract by being a top-20 center in the NHL. The other guy has played four games and hasn't earned a damned thing.

Is the experiment coming to a close?
