Even though he sucks, I can still see a team like Colorado, Boston, NYI maybe taking a chance on him. The trade has to happen soon though while he has some value after the cup win.

Yup. Fans are okay with it and have been for a while, the owner himself isn't and pushes for his first round exit playoff revenue every single year. His stupid playoff mandate has had this team toiling in the middle basically his entire ownership tenure, save for a couple wild outlier years. Something's gotta give finally.
