He was always a bit of an unqualified hire but he's likely going to get more rope than he deserves given the mess he inherited and ultra-low expectations. He hasn't done anything that could cripple them any worse than they are but he's also not really pulled off any astute moves. The Meier trade return was by no means a home run.
