Don't know what to think about Schwindt. It would be one thing if he came in and played really well and took down a spot, but that is not my read... Seems like he's just kind of a default guy for a specific role once injuries took place.

I understand letting Zary play in an offensive role in the AHL, but I would be one hell of a lot more excited about a Coleman - Zary - Duer line than I am about what is there now.

Was just looking for the first time as I'd like to get out to some games. Pretty weird schedule for Flames fans in Calgary to start the year. First weekend game of the season is November 18th, second one is in December.

We have a shortage of NHL-calibre right wingers, so why are two on the same line? Put Sharangovich with Kadri instead.

better yet, put Huberdeau on Backlund's line, and Sharangovich can switch around with Mangiapane on Lindholm's line

It is possible. They had a lot of bad luck last year. A healthy Demko and a revamped defense could yield results. Their penalty kill can’t really get any worse. I was just hoping for a young player to make the lineup and create some excitement. In the very least they should make the regular season, can’t be eliminated from that at least
