You know what, you're right, it's about the Snows. I can't imagine what they're going through.

We all knew the day was coming but nothing prepares you for when it happens. A very sad day for the Snow family and the hockey world. We are losing a brave man who fought a great and courageous battle against ALS. Kelsie showed great courage and should be commend for how she handled the situation. My heart goes out to Kelsie and the family.

There's a YouTube contest creator I watched, and he was diagnosed with ALS, and it was so sad to see it finally take him. He only lived a year after. It's so sad to see

Gutted for those two kids. I’ve been proud to have the Snow family as part of the Flames organization - all of them are inspirational.

Horrible, horrible news. So sorry for the pain that the Snow family is enduring. My thoughts are with them.

As a foster parent I just keep thinking about the kids. My mind keeps going to how they will grow up without their dad.
Luckily on the silver lining I know that the Flames will step up and support the family with more than just money. The kids will grow up with community and love.

Ugh. My dad died of ALS when I was in high school, so I've been invested and following these updates for years. I knew this update would come eventually, but damn. This sucks.

The Snow's are an incredible family, they've all fought this thing with such bravery and resilience. As a lot have already mentioned, we all knew how this story was going to eventually end, but it doesn't make it any less sad or shocking when it actually ends.
What a sad day today is. I hope the family continues to stay strong, and gets all the emotional support they need from everyone around them.

I had a neighbor die from ALS. It's heart breaking watching what a person goes through and what they must endure. Kelsie had to be strong for the kids and that took great courage on her part. She has a tough road ahead of her but I suspect at the same time the entire Flame and hockey community will be there to support her in any way they can.
I hope the Flames find a way to honor Chris and Kelsie so we never forget.

I lost a friend to ALS a few years ago. He went faster than Chris did. It’s incredibly saddening.

I know it's easy to forget the big picture when the team isn't having on-ice success, and to get frustrated with the Flames organization.
But honestly the organization and ownership group deserves all the credit in the world for how they have treated Chris Snow, Kelsie, Cohen, and Willa these last 5 years.
It was impossible not to tear up when Craig was talking about Chris Snow today, and then mentioned that he had Cohen there with him this afternoon.
