Hoodie striping patterns are usually different than jerseys.

They wont be the jerseys, but it does leak the logo that we were wondering they would use. It also gives us the colors we will most likely see on the jersey

If you're just sitting on the edge waiting to jump with outrage about pretty much any topic against the team without any actual information to back it up ... why are you a fan?

It honestly makes no sense to me at all.

Why are you so negative and down on the Flames?

I like the Flames jersey. I don't see what the issue is.

The Oilers one was always going to be terrible. There is just no way to make blue and orange appealing. They somehow made it even worse with that ridiculous logo.

I haven't seen the jersey, but I have had it described to me by someone who has seen it and what I pictured was very similar to that hoodie.

I'm betting that's a pretty close representation of it.

So a two tone jersey without yellow... well hopefully it pops better than that hoodie does

here is the oilers leak.

the hoodies for both teams have the same stripping so i wouldn't use that to base any stripes on the jersey.

They put the team name on a banner. Very on-brand for Edmonton.

LOL the Oilers one is so bad. It looks like it would be one of those stock logos in the create a frachise mode in EA.

Okay, but how does the jersey look after it's been thrown on the ice.

I don't know... a tear and a banner - might be the best Oiler logo yet!

Our logo is just as unimaginative. You have the chance to do something cool and one off and old timey and you end up with a generic roundel with the current logo and name that looks like a pin you could buy in any given year in this city since 1980.

The bucking bronco and cowboy from the front of the old Corral. Western font for numbers/letters.

Sure it'd be hokey, but hokey is okay for a one-off.

It honestly makes no sense to me at all.
The "information" I'm basing the opinion off of in this post was provided by the "insider" you and others have incessantly protected all year. I'm willing to admit it's no actual information and happy to admit that. I think my post actually admits through the big if statement that I doubt that it's real information.

Regarding being down on every topic, that's a gross overstatement and dumb oversimplification. I've been consistently against every move the team has made since the Kadri signing. I think the decisions have been consistently poor and I think it stems from ownership down. But I provide justification to my thoughts. I'm a fan of the team because I have been my whole life- I'm not a fan at all of how the club has been run for quite some time now and am starting to express that. Not sure what's hard to understand, unless your idea of being a fan is being a mindless sloberring moron lapping up whatever message the club is pushing out. Seems like the level of fans the oilers value.

You lay in wait so you can hammer the organization at every turn. It's a pattern. We all see it.

Nobody is saying you're even wrong, it's just very odd to still be a fan of something you seem to clearly hate. Doesn't add up for most if not all.

If you want to get into hyperbole and suggest the only other alternative is to be a slobbering moron, you can, but nobody is buying that either.

And yeah I try to protect people from having their character questioned when they bring in solid tidbits to discuss. Shouldn't we all?

But I don't just take that kernel of information, make a snap decision on it, and then drop my expected hatred (or slobbering moronic love either!) based on it sight unseen.
