This menu does not look like a fusion unless I am missing something here.
Just looks like your regular east indian butter chicken or tandoori pizza.

Guess I could have looked that up. Greek Indian seemed very far apart on the planet, greek/lebanese is what I was thinking. Makes sense now.

I don't know if this is positive racism or not, but for my money East Indians are the most under-appreciated pizza makers on the planet. They nail that sweet spot between Italians who get far too much credit and the chicagoans that make pizza casserole. I'd call it Greek style but I can only think of one place that's actually Greek.

Adding cheese cubes(paneer) and Butter Chicken pizza took it too far.
We should have stopped with the Tandoori.

Do you have any examples? I tend to stay away from places that have food from other ethnicities.

They'd be making "prairie pizza" not some traditional Italian or Greek version. There aren't any cultural background requirements for that.

I would like to find a place that does a better version of the BP pizza with the cocktail shrimp.

It's fill your face type food, but the cost isn't especially high for the pure volume of food you get.

One of the things I will miss about Canada.
We would get a heart shaped Pizza every year in remembrance of my mother. She loved it.

It's not necessarily Indian/pizza fusion. They will often make a butter chicken pizza just out of convenience (because they often also serve Indian food), but what I'm getting at is more the style. It's what I would also categorize as a "pub pizza"... it's not wood-fired and super thin, and it's not a Chicago deep dish. Like a late night slice place.
Closest example to a chain would be a CPU (which I'm not a huge fan of, but it is similar to the style I'm referencing). I find they almost always do a good job of hitting a toppings/cheese/dough ratio.
Where my bias arises is in high school there was a great guy who ran a pizza-by-the-slice place which pretty much fed me every day for 3 years. Maybe it's a nostalgia thing, but anytime I see an East Indian dude making pizza, all concerns disappear.

I hate to ask after discussion has taken place, but too lazy to find the discussion in this thread - going to be in the deep south tomorrow.
What were the best pizza options down there again? Willing to drive wherever in that Seton/cranston/mahogany area. I heard there was some new good places.

Putting a vote in for Red Top Pizza in Cranston. Detroit style, very crispy crust. Love it

I would second this.
A lot of people find their sauce on the sweet side, which doesn’t offend me. But if you change it up and get their spicy sauce instead (it’s not very spicy) the sweetness disappears

I live in Mahogany and I vote for Red Top in Cranston. Bow Tie is a gut bomb for me. The Mash is alright if you want some beers and a patio too.

I like Jon's in Douglas Dale as well.
It isn't fancy, but it is consistent and good. Also, priced not bad.
Bowtie is good, but #### me it's a lot of $$.
Give Jon's a shot especially if you wanna support a 1 shop independent fella.

This is good info, I haven't tried it.
Has anyone tried Royal Pizza in Seton?

Jon's is awesome too. When I used the CT park and ride in Dougls Glenn I would order on the bus and pick it up on the way home.
