Literally only Alcaraz meets these criteria right now.

I'm still mad at him for losing to Zverev in Tokyo.

Djokovic is flying off to Spain today to play in Davis Cup
Serbia is in a group with Spain, Korea and Czech Rep. And with Alcaraz not playing there will be no one to challenge him in singles.

His Davis Cup record is 38-7 but hasn't lost since 2011 when Delpo beat him.

Meanwhile, it appears that CBC.ca and the CBC Sports App are the go to for Canada Davis Cup action this week. It all starts on Wednesday versus Italy who will be minus both Sinner and Berrettini. Sweden and Chile are the other teams in the group with Canada and Italy.

Shapo is slated to play (he is there, but it depends on his knee), but Felix is not playing Davis Cup. I hope to see him in person in Vancouver at the Laver Cup.

The Canadian Davis Cup team this week is Shapo, Vasek, Gabriel Diallo, and Alexis Galarneau.

I think they will do decent, not a lot of star power in this tournament. Great Britain has a good team with Norrie, Murray, Evans and Draper and Spain is also deep. Stan the man will play for Switzerland (how did Switzerland only win one Davis Cup?) Also Sweden has Leo Borg, son or some guy who used to play tennis, won 6 French Opens can't remember the name.

Even without Sinner and Berrettini, the Italians will be very tough with the team consisting of Lorenzo Musetti, Lorenzo Sonego, Simone Bolelli, Andrea Vavassori and Matteo Arnaldi. Top two teams in each group will advance to the finals in November and I think Canada has a good chance even if they lose to Italy.

Why? He won 2 Slams last year had to retire at Wimbledon or it could have been 3 in a row. Even at 50% he's still the favorite to win the French Open

Probably a tough ask for Rafa to win Wimbledon at this stage no?

At 50% he's absolutely not the favourite over Djokovic or Alcaraz or Ruud or... probably a bunch of others. But he probably won't come back at 50% and he'll be a threat.

Tough ask for sure to win Wimbledon next year but if he's fully healthy who besides Djokovic or Alcaraz would you have favored over Nadal at Wimbledon?
And wasn't it just last year he played the French Open on one foot with the other one frozen to the point he could hardly feel it? That's 50% in my books
Not saying he is going to complete the Golden Slam next year or anything but if he is truly fit and healthy next year he absolutely could win another slam or Olympic Gold(s)
