Flames "What number is he?" Jakob Pelletier switches from 49 to 22

Would be something if he becomes as good a two-way forward as Conroy once was ... or even the second coming of Lee Stempniak.

Pelletier #22 T-shirts are now available at the FanAttic:

Available here.

His junior number was 12.... so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

That’s Hakan Loob’s old number.

Ronnie Stern is the first 22 I think of for some reason.

Totally forgot Trevor Lewis wore 22 last year. Hope Pelletier is better.

Six seasons... I think he was the longest to have the number ... Langkow was five, I think.

I never liked that Conroy also used #24 here, but I did love Langkow, so...

Yup, as did Nick Fotiu, Mike Bullard, Mark Hunter, Rocky Thompson and Devin Setoguchi, and even Al MacInnis for a short period.

So, Sharangovich takes Looch's #17, and Coronato #19?

Coronato probably wears #27 (USHL number) or #19 (Harvard number)

I love a Ronnie Stern mention. My earliest Saddledome memory:

My friend and I went down to the glass before the game, and Stern was trying to flip a puck over the glass to us. He tried a good few times but couldn’t get the puck over the glass. Eventually he just took his glove off, picked one up and tossed it over the glass.

Another #22, Nick Fotiu would flip a bucket's worth of pucks up to the nosebleeds.

I think Coronato is sticking with 39.

I wonder if Huberdeau switches to #11 after/during next season.

I'm also curious if Kylington sticks with #58. He was #4 in the AHL. He was #6, and #7 playing for Sweden in the world juinors.

Anyone who rocks a MacInnis 22 is a ####ing gangster in my book.

(And Huberdeau should switch to any number other than 10 ASAP because that number is cursed)
